The Notes view is a convenient way to add notes without having to leave the app. When a task isn’t quite as important, simply tap on Hide Future to view it later. If a task needs to be completed soon, just change it to Do Now or Due Today. Task view lets users drag and reorder tasks and apply filters to organize the list.
In addition, there are two ways to view the Calendar: working hours and mini month. It’s possible to drag and drop events on the time slots to reschedule events, and users can even turn events into tasks. Events are displayed on the left side along with time slots and then the tasks show up on the right side next to the time slots.

The Calendar view not only displays a daily calendar, but it also includes tasks that are organized into the free time available over a week. These different views allow users to view their daily schedules in different formats. Users can then see their Tasks and Appointments in Calendar view. For instance, tapping on the Task View lets users create new tasks that can be scheduled with the Calendar appointments.

All of these options are integrated into each other so users don’t have to go back and update things later.
Simply tap on Calendar, Tasks, Notes or Projects to get started. The four ways to stay organized are displayed at the bottom of the screen.

What’s great is that it synchronizes with the free Cloud hub so users can sync their data between the Mac and iPad apps. The interface is designed to make it appear simple on the surface, but there’s many features packed into the app to give users plenty of options to manage their busy lives. A “Notifications” button appears when you have new messages or new notifications from shared projects. On your Mac, iPhone or iPad, open SmartDay and you can automatically see all Tasks that have been assigned to you by others. Never lose your wayĮverything is connected – no need for breadcrumbs. The task list still shows which tasks you can complete today, tomorrow, and for the rest of the week. You can also turn off auto-scheduling altogether, leaving your calendar open to show your appointments only. You’ve got a date to fix the photocopier at 5pm.
But if you want to schedule tasks yourself, just drag them individually from your Task list into the calendar’s timeline. And it automatically adapts when you get called away to do something else. SmartDay’s integrated calendar shows exactly what you can accomplish today, based on the priorities you set in the Task list. Need more time? Drag the time shade down to allow you to work longer hours, and still more tasks will flow in! Warning: use with discretion, and don’t forget to sprinkle in some fun. As you mark tasks as “done,” additional tasks automatically flow into your calendar.
